The Science Castle Research Fund is a research grant for junior and senior high school students who conduct original research based on their own ideas on themes set by RIVANES and its partners.
In principle, the research coach will accompany the student for approximately six months and provide advice on all aspects of research activities.

Technical Strengths

Since 2012, RIVANES has hosted "Science Castle," a conference for junior high and high school students, to build a network with next-generation researchers who are pursuing research activities on their own themes.
We have also supported the research activities of the next generation of researchers with the help of partner companies who want to support them and research coaches ranging from young to senior researchers.
In the field of oceans, we have operated the Marine Challenge Program annually since 2017 in collaboration with the Nippon Foundation and JASTO, and have produced many next-generation researchers who want to elucidate the wonders of the oceans or solve problems.
