Bivalve Shell Carbon Dioxide Fixation LCA and Value Chain Development

summary
Bivalves such as scallops and oysters are interpreted as a process that fixes calcium and bicarbonate ions as calcium carbonate through biomineralization, but at the same time releases proton ions, thus releasing carbon dioxide from the ocean. Based on academic evidence, we are able to accurately assess the carbon fixation of bivalve shells and are building a value chain to promote bivalve shells as carbonic acid fixatives based on this technology.
