INOCA begins Southeast Asian expansion of marine resource conservation activities, establishing INOCA ASIA in Malaysia.

(Head Office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yota Takakura; hereinafter "Innoqua") has established its first overseas subsidiary, Innoqua Asia Sdn. ("Innoqua Asia") in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in October 2024.

In conjunction with this establishment, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with Universiti Sains Malaysia ("USM") on October 15, 2024 to strengthen research and development on algae and seagrass conservation and restoration.

By doing so, we aim to conserve the rich marine ecosystems of Southeast Asia, including the Coral Triangle, a hotspot of marine biodiversity, and to sustainably utilize and expand the potential of marine living resources.
